7th July 2012 ‘Style Rossese’ Blind Tasting, Bajardo<\/h3>\n

Classico 2011 Meaty aromas, spritzy. Fresh fruit, good long length, chunky. 14\/20<\/p>\n

23rd June 2012 Dolceacqua<\/h3>\n

Classico 2011 Black red colour. Rubbery notes on the nose which reminds me of Bellet\u2019s Folle Noir. Not a fruity style \u2013 mineral, gamey, firm tannins, fresh acidity, Meaty, black fruit \u2013 chewy style. Nice but a little clunky compared with some of the fresher zippy wines. 15\/20<\/p>\n

Superiore 2010 Black colour with hints of red. Slightly volatile on the nose. Quite a meaty style. Full bodied gamey tannins. Very good fresh fruit acidity \u2013 fresh acidic zippiness \u2013 but not a fruit driven style. 16\/20<\/p>\n

22nd May 2011 Blind Tasting Bordighera<\/h3>\n

Superiore 2009 Slightly reduced, rubbery on nose. On palate better. Good tannin, slightly stewed. Good acidity but altogether somewhat lacking in freshness. Meaty and gamey. 13.5%. 13\/20<\/p>\n
