Good ripeness of fruit with wild berry and bramble tannins and acidity. Some alcohol on length. Similar to Riviera dei Fiori classic. Freshness of red fruit and acidity \u2013 alcohol is the slightly different angle \u2013 gives weight and lift \u2013 but only 12.7% (label 12.5%) \u2013 so the richness of fruit \u2026 lots of ripe fruit but wild brambles, sour cherry, red currant, slightly almondy. 15\/20<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>22nd May 2011 Blind Tasting Bordighera<\/h3>\n<p>2010 Moderate depth. Savoury on the nose, slightly meaty and spicy. Big ripe juicy fruit. Wild berries. Chunky tannins. Raspberries, fresh acidity and good weight. 12.5%, 16.5\/20<\/p>\n<h3>7th May 2011 History and Wine in the Alpes Maritime, Taggia<\/h3>\n<p>2010 Moderate depth. Cherries, slightly almondy. Fresh red berry fruit. Fresh acidity. Slightly jammy sweetness. Long acidity and freshness. Spice developing with maybe a lightly bitter finish which lowered the score. Very like a Valpolicella. 12.5% 14\/20<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a029th May 2010 Blind Tasting Dolceacqua<\/h3>\n<p>2009 \u2013 light red. Moderately fruity nose, leafy, spicy, cinammon, cloves and gorse.
