Created 2000-3 so all very young vines. From 1986-2000 the family grew flowers; before that olives and vines. 30,000 bottles including some white wine. Despite the lowish marks – this is certainly an estate to keep an eye on.
7th July 2012 ‘Style Rossese’ Blind Tasting, Bajardo
Classico 2011 Good acidity, red berries, cherries, red currants, hints of almond. Could because wine was not cool – alcohol evident and maybe lacking a little freshness. 16.5/20
Superiore 2010 Cherries, good acidity, good tannins. Good ripe fruit. Easy to drink and very well balanced. However, picked up a slight bitterness on the finish which lowered mark to 16.5/20

Classico 2011 Mineral berry fruit on nose and palate. Firm stoney tannins and very fresh acidity. Powerful chewy tannins and acidity. Very fresh. Not as fruity as some – wild berries. Freshness does not continue on length. 15/20
Superior 2010 ‘Migliarina’ Good acidity fresh fruit – some chocolate tannins. Richness. Fresh acidity – fresher more wild berry fruit, length of wild fruit acidity.16.5/20
22nd May 2011 Blind Tasting Bordighera
2010 Light red, hints of orange. Too much maturity for age? Floral herby, smoky berry jam fruit on nose. Light weight on tannins, but long fresh acidity giving great freshness. Herby and wild berry fruit. Jaminess on nose, tempered by herby tannins and fresh acidity. Power more evident with time in mouth. 12.5%. 17.5/20
