Flower co-operative. Flowers make up the biggest percentage of the local economy. Lacking winemaking direction within the co-operative. Have some 30 growers with small plots of land.
December 2012 there will be an exhibition of the Dolceacqua artist Barbadirame, and their wine will be served.

Maxei ‘Barbadirame’ 2010. 14% alcohol, from the best parcels. Floral aromas, but dull and lacks zippiness, despite fresh acidity. 15/20
Maxei Superiore 2010 Round, ripe meaty tannins. Ripe gamey and red fruit. A little ‘dull;, lacks zippiness and fruit. 15/20

Superiore 2009 Brick red. Lovely fresh acidity showing some maturity. Wild berry fruit. Great length and chewy tannins. 17.5/20
