Producers of olive oil and ‘fagioli bianchi di Pigna’ (Pigna beans) and other seasonal produce.

Stayed here August 2011 for two nights. A little small for four people for any longer time, and the drive was very steep – we ended up parking on the road below and walking up and down which certainly helped with the amount of good food we were tucking away! We were able to use the vegetable plot and had fresh fruit, tomatoes, aubergines which was lovely plus fresh fruit at breakfast. There were three or four other houses with people staying so felt like a little village and if we had stayed longer greater potential for socialising with the other guests.
Roberto was extremely helpful. On the final day he drove our suitcases down to the car and even helped one of the other guests whose car had broken down and a friend lent them a car for their holiday! He had a university degree but had decided to return to the family property and was doing up the old family farm buildings himself to turn into holiday lets and had chosen to be one of the few producers of the local Pigna bean – an expensive product but truely local.
